LOCAL civil engineering company Kaiaworks Ltd has rebuilt its static crusher from abandoned parts found at the old crusher plant sites in Western Highlands and Chimbu.
“The static crusher is built by local tradesmen with old spare parts and scrap found at the Komun crusher in Western Highlands and metal scrap from the old Chimbu coffee factory and crushing sites in Wara Simbu near Kundiawa town,” managing director Godfrid Umba said.
“We built this to get road-base gravel material to carry out works at Sinasina-Yongomugl.”
He thanked the district’s chief executive officer Obert Waure and MP Kerenga Kua for making funding available for the upkeep of the district’s roads.
The company operates eight mobile crushing plants stationed around PNG where the company has contracts to do civil works.
