Locals want polls update

A PEACE and good order committee and an electoral agent from Nebilyer, Western Highlands, have claimed the 34 council wards in the area do not know their returning officer and its latest electoral update.
John Wanul said electoral agents in the area were not sure how many days to work and how they would be paid by the Electoral Commission.
He said the returning officer in the area “is hiding in Tambul district and not attending to them and only attending electoral related programmes in Mt Hagen”.
