Low airfares for PoM-Cebu run

AIR Niugini has already begun its Port Moresby to Cebu City flight with a reasonable return airfare of less than K3,000. The national flag carrier started its scheduled operations into Cebu with almost fully-booked flights after the inaugural flight on Monday last week.
The airfare price for Air Niugini’s new Port Moresby to Cebu route is currently at K2,378.20 per person, inclusive of tax and surcharges.
This is the lowest return fare from the capital city to Cebu in the Philippines and back again.
However, there are also different fare levels from specials to normal fare in all sectors like from Port Moresby to Brisbane, Port Moresby to Sydney, Port Moresby to Cebu and so on.
The new route is being serviced by Air Niugini’s new Boeing 737 which will make two direct flights in a week to Cebu on Tuesdays and Thursdays, departing at 8.20pm.
The low airfare and the direct flights to Cebu will make it easier for Filipino workers in PNG to commute between the two cities.
Air Niugini Chief executive officer Wasantha Kumarasiri said last week the new route to Cebu would ensure convenience for hundreds of workers from the Philippines who are involved in the multi- billion dollar LNG project, fisheries sector and other major industries in PNG.
