Lynn’s statement misleading: Foundation

THE Kokoda Track Foundation (KTF) says Charlie Lynn, owner of the tour operating company Adventure Kokoda, is not a member of the foundation and cannot speak on their behalf.
KTF communications coordinator Tess Gizoria said this yesterday after an article published by The National last week quoted Lynn as the “founding chairman” of KTF who raised concerns that the foundation had failed to ensure the track was in good condition and did not deliver services to the local communities.
She said Lynn’s statement was misleading and did not represent the views of the foundation as a whole.
“He is not a founder and KTF completely disassociates itself with any comment he makes inregards to the foundation.
“KTF is an international development non-government organisation that has been operating in PNG for over a decade.”Gizoria said KTF chairman was Patrick Lindsay and the CEO was Dr Genevieve Nelson.
