Madang soccer invites teams for Momase leg

The Momase regional leg of the Besta FA Cup gets underway in Madang July 2-7.
With 44 teams confirmed to battle for the Besta FA Cup Momase Leg, the deadline for team registration is June 23.
Madang Soccer Association president Siegfried Beschel, pictured, said they had moved the deadline to allow for more teams to register. “We have only 32 spaces available for men’s teams and 16 for women and once we have the slots filled we’ll have the draw done by June 24,” Beschel says.
He said the local community and Madang Soccer Association were excited to host the event and welcomed all participating sides.
The teams that have confirmed participation are: Vanimo Urban Soccer Association, Wewak Football Association, Passam, Aitape, Wau, Morobe Football Association, Finchafen, Salamaua, Madang Soccer Association, Ramu Sugar, Tangu-Bogia, Almami, Iabu, Holy Spirit, BEL SA, Waput, Walium-SIKO, Kidoka Soccer Association-Karkar, Rungken, Kubugam, Sabilara, Saidor, Basamuk, Bawak Soccer Association, Grengebu-Middle Ramu, Nodubu, Ambenob North-Sinai, Ambenob South-Gum, Madang Country-Waratanget, Dalam, South Naru, Maprik, Ambunti, Angoram, Anmbats Mumeng, Buang Soccer Association, Asini Football Association, Gaifar Soccer Association, Wantuat Soccer Association, Dregahafen High School, Biaru Soccer Association, Watut, Wampar, Boana.
