Madang stands with Marape

THE nation was watching attentively hoping that Prime Minister James Marape remained as prime minister.
In thanking the 18 brave MPs who crossed the floor, the people of Madang are proud of their three MPs including the Governor Peter Yama.
Yama is a power broker and his neutral stand with Speaker Job Pomat on Dec 14 speaks volume.
Yama’s gesture of making peace in parliament along with Madang MP Bryan Kramer is much appreciated.
Raicoast MP Peter Sapia and Sumkar MP Chris Nangoi’s reunion with the Government is appreciated as well.
What you did brought normalcy and confidence to the Marape regime.
Marape’s appointment of Usino-Bundi MP Jimmy Uguro as Education Minister is good news for his district and the province.
Thanks to your actions, the stress and anxiety that we experienced with MPs defecting to the Opposition is now a thing of the past.
It is now time to celebrate and be merry.
