A WOMAN charged with murder had her case adjourned for a month by Waigani Committal Court magistrate Tracy Ganaii yesterday.
Janet Dolo, of Tiribi village, Erave, Southern Highlands, allegedly killed another woman at the 8-Mile roundabout in Port Moresby on May 2 last year, when she got into a fight with her intending to cause major harm and kill her.
The fight resulted in the women’s instant death.
The matter was reported and investigated and Dolo was arrested and charged.
She was told by Magistrate Ganaii that her case would go through the committal court for three months and if there was enough evidence found from the police file, it would be forwarded to the National Court.
Magistrate Ganaii also told Dolo that if she wanted bail, she would have to talk to a lawyer and request for bail in the National Court.
Meanwhile, Dolo will be remanded in custody and she will return to court on April 10.
