Make Segeyaro unwelcome

FINALLY, James Segeyaro has been named in the Australian Prime Minister’s 13 to take on the PNG Prime Minister’s 13 on Sep 26. I urge all rugby league followers in PNG, especially in Port Moresby, to welcome him home with lots of boos when he takes the field and runs the ball. This is to tell Segeyaro that we are not happy with your decision to play for Australia when he is a true blue Papua New Guinean, unlike others like Alex Johnson, David Mead and Neville Costigan who are part Papua New Guinean. A lot of players in the Australian Prime Minister’s side will not make it into the Australian side for upcoming World Cup. There is no need for PNGRFL board or selectors to consider players like Segeyaro who miss out on Australian selection and come looking for their place of origin.
