HEALTH and HIV/AIDS Minister and Mor-

esby North-West MP Michael Malabag has given K100,000 for the expansion of St Paul’s Catholic parish at Gerehu Stage Six.

A representative from Malabag’s office, Angus Ali presented a cheque for the amount last Sunday on behalf of Malabag during the Feast of St Paul’s celebrations.

Speaking on behalf of Malabag, Ali said churches in the country had contributed immensely to the development of communities.

“Churches must be assisted. The government is committed to working alongside churches and acknowledges their valuable input in nation-building,” he said.

Ali announced Malabag had committed another K200,000 to help the St Paul’s Community School infrastructure development.

“Malabag urges all parents to be responsible for their children’s education and wellbeing so they will be focused on building strong families and a strong nation in future,” he said.

“Malabag is happy to be assisting churches and schools in his electorate.

“Embrace your child now and you embrace a

society that will be free and harmonious.

“That is our vision.”
