Man, 69, charged with touching daughter in bed

A MAN, 69, in Kimbe, West New Britain has been charged with sexually touching his daughter.
According to provincial police commander Jim Namora, the girl had returned home from school on July 23, had dinner and went straight to bed.
He said at around midnight the man allegedly entered the room where his daughter was sleeping and began to touch her breasts and private parts.
The girl woke and caught hold of his arm.
She reported the matter to two of her sisters who accompanied her to the Buvussi police station.
The girl was examined at the nearby health centre. Her father will appear at the Kimbe District Court.
