Marum best for Kumuls

I WISH to express my great joy to read about the appointment of PNG Hunters’coach Michael Marum to coach  the national team, Kumuls. It is heartening to note that our rugby league selectors have given due consideration of national talent in the likes of Marum. We have many Papua New Guineans who are able to excel in many facets of sport if given that opportunity. The Australians do not even understand our psychological needs in sport. They are hiding many things from us. Comparing Marum to past Kumul coaches, he has proven his ability and capability to coach at the highest level of the sport. With his great succvess in coaching the PNG Hunters in the tough Queensland Cup competition, Marum is the man to restore PNG’s ranking in world rugby league.
