A GRADE 4 student at Carr Memorial Adventist won K250 in his favourite newspaper’s masthead competition and plans to buy new school uniform and a pair of shoes next week.
Tauravele Isaac, 12, from Central, won after several attempts.
“Reading the newspaper became a hobby after I learnt how to read,” he said.
Isaac said his parents helped to cut out mastheads and dropped them off at The National office.
He said his father made attempts but did not win so he had to try it.
Now the family knows who has better luck.
