A media education seminar was held for the Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate (MSI) on Wednesday at the MSI Provincial House in Port Moresby to enable participants to see how moral dilemmas can be solved more easily.
Twenty-eight participants from MSI congregations took part in the one-day seminar aimed to improve communication in evangelism and adapting to evolving communication techniques.
The seminar was facilitated by social communications commission personnel of the Catholic Bishops Conference of Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands.
The seminar, themed “To be prophetic communities in living our mission and spirituality”, was jointly facilitated by four media officers and journalists from the communication commission team, Abigail Seta, Isabella Saleu and Nigel Akuani.
Provincial superior of the DMI congregation, Sr Vimala Francis MSI, expressed her appreciation for the seminar and said she now had a better understanding in communicating successfully the values of the Christian life.
