Milne: Air Niugini focused on delivering business outcomes

AIR Niugini is focused on delivering its business outcomes through its high altitudes programme, managing director Alan Milne says
Milne said this while responding to questions regarding the move by the Government to include Air Niugini under the Department of Transport and Infrastructure.
“The message is very clear that we will go to the Department of Transport and Infrastructure,” he said.
“When that happens we will look at the transition and how that impacts our operation. At the moment we are focusing on delivering our business outcomes.
“We are looking at controlling our costs, improving our revenue and looking after our people and customers.”
Milne said by delivering the pillars of the company’s high altitude programme, it would allow them to increase their profits by the end of the year which would allow them to give back in dividends to the country.
“Our focus on cost control is like never before, we are looking at revenue opportunities and what we can do in that space, our people and how to help them in development and of course our customer excellence and operations,” he said.
