THESE people, the NGOs, MPs, bureaucrats, living comfortable lives, keep on reminding Papua New Guineans in the media to eat healthy diet.
What these ignorant fools fail to realise is that almost all Papua New Guineans are living below the poverty line.
Even those that have jobs can’t afford healthy food on a minimum wage.
That’s why we buy rice and tinned fish to last until the next fortnight. We’re surviving.
You think we like eating rice and tinned fish every day?
We are not foolish.
We know garden foods are better than store bought foods.
We like fruits and vegetables too, just as you.
It is just that we can’t afford it.
You guys with your condescending attitude, be it intentional or not, are just annoying.
Get your head out the sand.
If you want to help then, for starters, do something about the freight cost for the garden produce that is brought into the city from the Highlands region.
