MORATA Offseason Rugby League heavyweights M2 Mumuts’ title defence will be put to the test when they face Kongo Rats in the quarterfinals at the Kone Tigers Oval in Port Moresby on Sunday.
Other matches on Sunday will see Talapia Magpies play Waga Rats for spots in the semifinals of the men’s division.
The matches tomorrow will see Rainbow Tribes play Top Street Hawks and M3 Bulldogs face Community Hall Tigers.
All the winners advance to the semifinals while losers bow out.
On the bye are Megusa Brothers, Mautana Roosters, Giburi Raiders and Gateway Sharks.
In the women’s division, M2 Mumuts face Mautana Roosters, M3 Bulldogs meet Hawks, 38 Jets play Sisters and Guava Pirates battle Tigers.
In the Under-20 division, Brothers meet Northern Warriors, Waga Rats play Border Broncos, Jets face Kongo Rats and Sharks battle M4 Eastern Eels.
