Morobe presents land report to authority for wharf project

The Morobe government has presented a land investigation report (LIR) to the National Fisheries Authority (NFA) for the development of the Wagang fisheries wharf to be built in Lae.
Receiving the report from acting provincial administrator Miring Singoling, NFA managing director John Kasu said the report was essential as it indicated the progress the authority was making on building a dedicated fisheries wharf in the province.
Last year NFA and the Morobe government signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) to implement the Wagang fisheries wharf project.
As per the agreement, the provincial government through its land division and regional land office in Lae completed the LIR report and presented it to NFA.
