MP has done more

Letters

THE “Losing Hope” letter from McHerry in The National last Thursday said Jimi MP and Minister for Community Development and Religion has fooled the people of Jimi for too long by making empty promises.
Sounds to me that you are an intending candidate who will be putting up a strong challenge against the incumbent.
Fair enough, you can do that when the time is right.
But tarnishing the MP’s name with false and biased information is not fair.
If you are a real son of Jimi, you would appreciate what our member is undertaking and trying to deliver to one of the most disadvantaged electorate in the country.
It is not easy to deliver services to every part of Jimi.
Analyse the difficult landscape of Jimi and occasional rainfall and other natural occurrences before you make your outburst in the media.
Our MP is trying his utmost best – addressing the Jimi road network issue, the Jimi Secondary woes, tertiary students school fees assistance, support schools and health facilities with funds, funding the work of LLGs and focusing on other areas and projects in the electorate.
Ask yourself what past Jimi MPs have done in their term in office?
