Sumkar MP Chris Nangoi has assured his people that the Sumkar development authority will continue to invest in education during his term in parliament.
Nangoi made the statement during the opening of two teachers’ houses and two renovated classrooms at Nitlon Primary School at Boroman village on Karkar Island this week.
Work on the teachers’ houses and renovated classrooms was funded at K50,000.
“It’s about time that we realise that education is one of the key driving factors in the country and is and will be the source of success for individuals and communities,” Nangoi said.
“Our children must be better educated to contribute meaningfully and productively to their communities and the country.”
