LAE MP Loujaya Kouza says wealth must be shared so that everyone benefits.

She witnessed the opening of a Supa V Stoa for the Gese-Ficne (Finschhafen-Lae districts) Co-operative Society at Kaiser, Tent City, which she initiated.

Kouza said the aspiration of the people of Kaiser was reflected in the partnership that they had with SVS and Bank South Pacific because the society would have a banking service.  “Our people had been lining up at automated telling machines and banks throughout the city,” Kouza said.

“This setup will enable them to do their banking.”

Kouza said wealth must be shared so that everyone can have a little out of it to start up small businesses.

“In the FISIKA region, we have opened cooperative society for Kabwum, and now Finschhafen.

“Tewae Siassi is on the way and then to all the eight districts of the province living in Lae district,” Kouza said.

Opposition Leader Don Polye said his THE party supported the cooperative society.

He said they were engaging funds to assist cooperative societies.

Polye said the setting up of the cooperative societies was a brilliant idea.

He urged the people to cherish the partnership they have with SVS.
