Mum wins ute with K60 shopping

PATRICIA Roa, 39, spent just K60 at the Stop N Shop supermarket in Port Moresby on Wednesday and won a Isuzu D-Max on a Christmas promotion.
“This is the best Christmas gift. I could not believe it when I got the call in the morning,” she said.
“I am really excited. I did not even eat anything.
I now own a car.”
The City Pharmacy Ltd Group (CPL) Christmas scratch and win promotion started last month and will continue in this festive season, ending on Dec 31.
For every K50 spent, customers get a Christmas scratch to win card with a variety of prices to be won.
“I would like to thank CPL for this great opportunity. Winning this is a huge gift. I am from Marshall Lagoon, Central. I have boys and we live at Four-Mile,” Roa said.
She was accompanied by her children and brother to claim her price at Stop and Shop Central Waigani supermarket yesterday.
“I do not own a vehicle, but my dad has one. This is my first one and I am looking forward to testing it. I do know how to drive, but I will get my driving licence now,” Roa said.
