Music ministry preaches worship without church doctrines

THE Voice of Truth Ministry held its third nationwide conference in Mt Hagen last week to help Christians worship God in the spirit and in truth without preaching the doctrines and laws which is becoming a setback from prospering in faith.
The ministry is made up of the Saturdays and Sundays worshipers who have come out to preach Jesus Christ as the Lord and Saviour and not the church doctrines.
Christians came from the four regions on PNG and participated in the conference which ended with a Jesus March in Mt Hagen last Friday.
The conference was held from July 7 -13.
The aim of forming the ministry is to educate Christians to take Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.
Voice of Truth minister Joshua Kiluwe said nowadays many people believe in church doctrines than in Jesus Christ as the key to salvation.
He said that the ministry was formed in 2005 by the Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) church members and has members from Sunday worshippers too because they believe that Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath and he is the key to Heaven.
Kiluwe said he is a SDA member but they have come out to form this ministry to tell the truth that a church doctrine is not the way but Jesus is.
“We need the body of Christ to come out and know the truth and worship, which God requires from his children,” he said.
“We must not become too religious but to break free from the laws of the churches and preach Jesus Christ as the key to salvation.”
He said nowadays many Christians believe in doctrines than in God that is why many are not seeing changes in their faith.
Kiluwe said SDA’s preached about the Sabbath the same way with the Sunday worshippers but they are only doctrines and laws.
He said the ministry is to preach about the Truth and tell the people that Jesus Christ is the way to the Father and not the church.
“If we become too stubborn then our faith with God will fade because we have our faith basing on church doctrines,” he said.
He said it is about time Christians have to come out from the laws and church doctrines and preach Jesus Christ as the way, the truth and the life.
“We have to get back to the Bible, read and understand and know the truth.”
Kiluwe said during the five days conference, Christians have come to know that not the law or church doctrines will help them receive eternal life but Jesus Christ is the only answer.
