Naked error maybe costly
THE Vanimo District Court has found a woman guilty of selling to a man her mobile phone containing 14 nude photos of her in West Sepik, senior magistrate Sasa Inkung says. “Kamera Rumai, 27, from Malol village, West Sepik, sold her phone on June 12, to a man at Yako village, Vanimo, West Sepik.”
The man bought her phone not knowing that it contained her naked photos.
After he discovered the photos when going through the phone’s photo gallery, he reported it to police. She was arrested and charged with producing pornographic photos. She is out on a K1,000 bail and will appear before the same court on Friday for sentencing.

Great work by our police! They are useless at convicting murderers, rapists, domestic violence offenders and corrupt politicians, but any “crimes” that give them an opportunity to see pictures of naked women and they’re 100% efficient.
I don’t think Police men would wait for a case to pop up to see naked photos. Just like you and me, they can access it on the internet. It’s not an opportunity. And no, they are not useless at convicting others of other crimes, there are more bad stories than good stories of the police that appear on the media. Hence, portraying a bad image of the Police Force. Just like any other organization, the majority can do good, but just one person messess up and the organization faces the backlash.

The court should ask her to change her attitude and repent from this.There was no damage done.The so called murders and those who steal huge amount of money from Government are still roaming around and simple guys are sent to prison so quickly.I am not supporting the action of woman but deal with bigger offenses seriously before minor ones.

Privacy and she didn’t intentionally sold it. She just forget to delete them. There are very serious or big offenses committed by our leaders and others that warent tougher punishment.
