Nali’s tough call on roads

Works Minister Michael Nali yesterday told MPs to report and provide evidence of companies owned by Works officers that are involved in road projects.
“I will tell them to resign and go and do business. But you must provide evidence like Investment Promotion Authority extracts so that I can have evidence to reprimand them,” Nali said.
He was responding to queries raised by Goilala MP William Samb, Markham MP Koni Iguan and Karamui-Salt-Nomane MP Geoffrey Kama. The MPs queried about the standard of sealing, road maintenance and senior Works officers involving their companies in road construction.
