Namah congratulates Brian Bell over acquisition

OPPOSITION Leader Belden Namah has congratulated the Brian Bell Group of Companies on its acquisition of a Brisbane-based company, Orange Digital.
Brian Bell had announced that the acquisition of Orange Digital in Australia was completed last month.
Namah said it was “a proud moment for Papua New Guinea when the Brian Bell group steps outside of Papua New Guinea for the first time in 63 years”.
“Brian Bell is synonymous with provision of quality goods and series across a wide range of products from agriculture goods to digital services.
“That Brian Bell is able to expand outside of PNG at a time of the global Covid-19 pandemic, when companies everywhere are contracting and shedding divisions and staff, is testimony to excellent management, strategic planning and niche marketing.
“I congratulate chairman Ian Clough, chief executive officer Cameron Mackellar and their team.
“You have done founder, the late Sir Brian Bell, proud by going back to the land of his origin to plant his name after all those years when he landed here in 1957. It is a feel-good story at a time of much doom and gloom.”

  • Congratulations. PNG organizations are breaking expanding to international market. Mapai transport was one of the brave organization to enter New Zealand market but did not last. Another one is Yumi Yet in the rental industry and others I cannot think of. Can the GoPNG support these organizations as well?
