NAMBAWAN Super Limited says 534 people have been employed in its construction projects in Port Moresby.
Chief executive officer Paul Sayer said the benefit coming from the fund was not just for members but also for the economy and the people.
“Super is not just thinking and looking at ways to build buildings and have a return,” Sayer said.
“There are also spin-off benefits across the economy.
“We are also investing into skill sets by training local people in different skill.
“We will be bringing those people with these skill sets who have worked on this precinct (NSL plaza) and taking them to work in our other projects.
Namabawan Super Limited, National Capital District and Lamana Development Limited have another building project in Waigani called Range View which was providing more jobs.
