Names of MPs puzzle acting Speaker

ACTING Speaker Thomas Pelika caused confusion when he referred to Sohe MP Henry Amuli as Ijivitari MP.
He also referred to Komo-Margarima MP Manasseh Makiba as the Nipa-Kutubu MP.
Amuli had stood up to question Housing Minister John Kaupa on government houses and buildings in Ioma, Sohe. Ijivitari and Sohe are districts in Northern. Makiba had stood up to question Lands and Physical Minister Justin Tkatchenko regarding the land compensation claim for the Komo international airport.
Menyamya MP Pelika was standing in for Deputy Speaker and Nipa-Kutubu MP Jeffery Komal.
Speaker and Manus MP Job Pomat was unavailable because he was at Government House as the acting Governor General.
Meanwhile, Bogia MP Robert Naguri thanked Prime Minister Peter O’Neill, Energy and Communication Minister Sam Basil, Madang MP Bryan Krammer, Sumkar MP Chris Nangoi and Middle Ramu Jonny Alonk and Raicoast MP Peter Sapia for accompanying him to Manam Island last Saturday.
