TRANSPORT and Infrastructure Minister Chris Nangoi plans to prioritise work on building roads, upgrading rural airstrips and building ports.
He takes over the ministry from Westley Nukundj, who has moved across to the Public Service.
He said there were 16 priority roads and corridor road links to be completed.
He also said it was important to upgrade rural airstrips for people living in remote areas.
“For the maritime sector, there will be the development of ports in Wewak, Vanimo, Kikori and Manus funded in the 2018 and 2019 national budgets.”
