IF one would critically analyze the current unarrest in Morobe, it’s the leadership and management failure by Governor KellyNaru and Lae MP Loujaya Kouza

They both should come up with better strategies to manage the city affairs such street vendorring , pick pocketing, rubbish collection etcc….. rather than talking about nationals issue and giving free handouts to churches and NGO organizations.

Recently both of them going against the city authority bill and I though they have better ways to manage the city affairs but they both failed miserably.  Even MP Kouza was not present to receive the protestors’ petition. What a joke! Where is the leader?

It doesn’t need millions of kina to manage and clean lae city, it require  just thousands. Employ those street vendors or Morobeans and let them do the job.  Give them permanent position as security guards, street cleaners and gardeners.

I think they would be more happy to do the job and earn some money for their daily leaving.

Remember Lae is the second largest city and its not for Morobeans alone.

When few bad people creating problems, we start pointing fingers at all Highlands provinces or Sepiks or Keremas. I think this a act of regionalism and discrimination, which must be stopped.

There are good and bad people living in the city and the issue is how are we going to manage those bad people.

The people demand long term solutions rather than short term.

This time around we have presented petition to our good Governor Naru and hope that he will come up with best solutions to stop ethnic violence in Lae.
