Nasfund aims to develop future leaders

MANY organisations today have the aspiration to develop the next generation of leaders for critical roles in their business operation, a Nasfund manager says.
Presenting the keynote address at the Papua New Guinea University of Technology careers fair at Taraka Campus in Lae yesterday, National Superannuation Fund (Nasfund) head of human capital Vincent Lialu said development of the next generation of leaders in the corporate sector was to ensure they had a clear vision for the business to navigate their organisations through good and bad times.
“The same is for us at Nasfund,” he said.
“We have an aspiration to develop the next generation of leaders as part of our talent management and succession planning for key risk positions to ensure long term sustainability and a healthy talent pipeline is maintained throughout the organisation.”
“We see graduate recruitment and development as a key leadership agenda which forms part of our business strategy to promote growth and success for the benefit of our members,” Lialu said.
