THE National Superannuation Fund (Nasfund) and the Young Port Moresby Chamber of Commerce and Industry (YPOMCCI) recently held an information session for chamber members.
The Fund’s Know Your Super programme was held via Zoom and Facebook last Wednesday.
Chamber members were provided an overview of Nasfund, and an insight into the Fund’s products and services.
Nasfund chief officer member services Anne Wilson said the partnership was the first for this year.
“Since the start of this year, the Fund has been conducting the Know Your Super sessions for companies,” Wilson said.
“The YPOMCCI is the first non-government organisation to be a beneficiary of this exercise.
“Given the current membership of YPOMCCI, we believe it is important that we educate them now about the importance of superannuation, so that they develop a savings culture to ensure they are ready for retirement.
“We would like to thank president Natasha Austin, and her executives for reaching out to us on behalf of their members.
“As the country’s leading superannuation provider, we are keen on partnering with organisations to inform members on what the Fund is doing to add value to their retirement savings.”
