THE National Superannuation Fund Limited (NasFund) has introduced a whatsapp platform appointment system to improve member services.
It was developed by the Fund’s Information Technology and Innovation division to provide members with a convenient, efficient way to schedule and book appointments.
Chief executive officer Rajeev Sharma said the whatsapp appointment system was the latest addition to its digital offerings under its eBranch services launched last October.
“At NasFund we are leveraging technology to improve member experience and the whatsapp appointment system is another step forward in fulfilling this commitment,” he said.
Members can now schedule appointments with any branch.
They can then go to their nearest Nasfund centre and pick up their member query card number which will be automatically printed in the system.
Sharma urged members to use this service as well as its ‘EsiCall’ service which allows members to be updated about their account balance or benefits withdrawal status by dialling 1588 and following the prompts.
The e-application whatsapp system is being tried out from this week in Port Moresby (National Capital District), Lae (Morobe), Mt Hagen (Western Highlands), and Kokopo (East New Britain) next week.
Members can text ‘nasfund’ to whatsapp number +657 7600 0001 to initiate the booking process using the interactive Whatsapp Appointment system.
