Nay to “Noah” in Christian country like PNG

STAY away from the movie “Noah” is the advice of many world Christian leaders.

After viewing it, I was very disappointed.

The film is not a God-centred movie and Russell Crowe is not a Christian; he is a Hollywood actor whose actions are mainly controlled by the director.

Director Darren Aronofsky has ignored the true biblical reasons for the flood and God’s plan to kill everyone on this planet, except for Noah and his family (Genesis 6).

Instead, Aronofsky said it was over-population and environmental issues that forced God to destroy earth and its inhabitants.

In an interview with Aronofsky and Crowe, they called Noah a drunkard and an evil man.

Crowe even said that Noah was not a nice man for staying silent, letting earth’s population perish.

The truth is Noah was not evil as the bible clearly states that he is a righteous man that finds grace in the sight of the Lord.

He also did not just watch while people perished, but instead preached the warning for 120 years.

PNG is a unique, peaceful Christian country, so why allow this movie to be screened here?
