NCD boxers preparing for fight

NATIONAL Capital District (NCD) boxers have been training for the last two weeks in preparation for the upcoming national boxing championships.
But due to the Coronavirus, it is understood that the event is yet to be confirmed by the PNG Boxing Justification Committee.
National boxing coach Mark Keto said yesterday that despite no confirmation yet, his boxers were already training and were focused on the championships.
“Our training here is in preparation for the championships which are going to be held next week and also it’s a preparation for the national team for the Commonwealth Games next year.
“The national team has been selected already, but the group will be finalised during the national championships.”
According to Keto, the venue of the championships is yet to be confirmed.
