NCSL advises members to lodge applications online for faster turnaround

Applications for loans lodged with Nasfund Contributors Savings and Loan Society get processed faster if they are made online, it says.
Lending manager Bernard Geita said the society was seeing more members using the online system to apply for loans and make withdrawals.
“Members who cannot access the internet or go online can lodge applications manually,” he said.
“However, as far as possible we are promoting the internet and online services to minimise paper handling and create a faster turnaround time.”
Previously, members could only use the online service to check balances. The number of approved loans increased from 30,783 in 2016 to 38,452 last year.
Geita said the society was continuing to improve its services.
