NCSL and FairPrice strike deal to help members

NASFUND Contributors Savings and Loan Society Ltd (NCSL) has made it possible for its members to buy home appliances and furniture with quick loans .
This offering is NCSL’s credit facility with FairPrice, which allows members to purchase white and brown household goods on credit.
Repayment at low rates is over a maximum term of 36 months.
Lending manager Bernard Geita said the credit facility was open to all NCSL members.
Geita said once a new member applied for loan through the credit facility and met the lending criteria, NCSL would draw down their funds very quickly and pay to FairPrice for the desired items.
“There is no fixed limit applied,” he said. “It is dependent on the member/applicant meeting our lending requirements, including the ability to comfortably meet the loan repayments over a maximum period of 36 months.”
