NCSL appoints new chief operating officer

PRESLEY Semi is the new chief operating officer of Nasfund Contributors Savings and Loan Society Ltd (NCSL).
Semi, 40, from New Ireland and Western Highlands, is not new to the banking and finance industry.
He has more than 14 years of experience in the business undertaking managerial roles with his former employers – BSP Financial Group Ltd and Nambawan Super Ltd.
He joined NCSL on Monday.
NCSL chief executive officer Vari Lahui said Semi joined NCSL with a wealth of knowledge and experience, given his extensive background, holding key management positions in reputable financial institutions in the country.
“Coupled with his educational background, is set to make his mark in Nasfund Contributors Savings and Loan Society Ltd and we look forward to his valuable contributions in taking us to the next level as the society pursues its vision to become the best eBank in Papua New Guinea,” Lahui said.
Semi holds a master of science in information technology, management & organisational change from Lancaster University in the United Kingdom, master of project management from University of Technology Sydney and bachelor of Information Technology from University of Southern Queensland, Australia.
He is passionate designing and implementation of customer experience transformation using technology innovation, process improvement and organisational capability development.
