NCSL wants members’ beneficiaries updated on database

Nasfund Contributors Savings and Loan Society (NCSL) members have been urged to ensure that their beneficiaries are updated on its database.
Member services and branch support manager Robert Thadeus said the information was vital.
“Members must update details of their beneficiaries when completing application forms,” he said.
“(This is) for the purpose of having their savings guaranteed to their relatives or family members in the event of their passing.
“It is a firm requirement that members always update their beneficiaries when necessary to avoid inconveniences to the relatives later on.
“Some members complete their forms without filling in beneficiary details.
“Such instances in the past have resulted in most beneficiaries missing out on their loved ones’ savings.”
Thadeus urged all members who were yet to update their beneficiaries to contact NCSL and ensure the details were completed as soon as possible.
