New Ireland school gets new equipment

AKZONOBEL Taubmans, through its partnership with New Britain Palm Oil’s Poliamba Ltd, donated sporting equipments worth K1,500 to the Lakurumau Community School in New Ireland recently.
Islands regional manager Iain McCulloch and branch manager Benedict Furigi were proud to present several soccer, rugby and volley balls as well as sporting uniforms to the school.
This is part of Taubman’s corporate responsibility programme for promoting healthy living and education through sports for young
children.
Lakurumau Community School acknowledged AkzoNobel Taubmans and Poliamba Ltd for their partnership, which had contributed significantly to the school’s development.
Poliamba Ltd recently constructed four new classrooms and toilet blocks for the school.
