Newspaper commended

PNG Fire Service chief Bill Roo has thanked The National for supporting the fire service and acting as its voice in public.
Roo thanked the newspaper for promoting the PNG Fire Service and the important role it played in public safety and security.
“This year has had its share of challenges but we have managed to pull through and I want to thank the newspaper for supporting us and for being our voice through the main stream media,” Roo said.
“We will be celebrating our 50th anniversary on Friday so I would like to thank the newspaper company and its staff and wish them all a very Merry Christmas.”
“Thank you for recognising the Fire Service as an essential service in the city.”
