Niningi’s new challenge

I congratulate Imboungu open MP Pila Niningi for his new portfolio as Minister for Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology. Niningi is entering an exciting new phase and he will be facing many new challenges.
A major transformation is required by the higher and technical education sector.
A key challenge is the enhancement of quality and improved access to higher education.
Niningi will work with a brilliant secretary, Prof Fr Jan Czuba, who is well versed in the higher and technical education sector in Papua New Guinea and abroad. I know he will be providing good advice.
There are some key and high-priority projects left behind by the previous ministers Niningi’s task is to push them forward.
