I SHARE this so my fellow countrymen and women know what l had gone through as a local writer.
We are living in a democratic country. It means we have the freedom of speech, freedom of movement and freedom of expression.
Therefore, we need to exercise those democratic rights when there is a need to do so.
What l am expressing here is something other ordinary Papua New Guineans silently encounter or go through in life. That’s when it comes to seeking Government help to do something worthwhile or for a good cause.
I approached many Government offices, including the office of the former PM and the current government for assistance, but l did not get any feedback.
This made me wonder. Where is professionalism in the highest office? In PNG, those who claimed to be professionals keep people in suspense; make them hoping for an answer.
