No one at home at EHP governor’s office

Letters

THERE appears to be no officer at the Eastern Highlands governor’s office at Yanepa Building to serve the people. They have disappeared yet government cheques are still being issued and collected by selected individuals and groups.
People seeking help are turned away at the door by a lone security guard.
Sometimes we would see a cleaner.
Visitors would told that that is no officer in the office or that they had not yet turned up for work.
This has been going on for weeks.
Is the governor aware of this?
Is this how the provincial government headquarters serves the people?
The senior officers should explain why project proposals and submissions have not been dealt with as this is affecting development and the people.
Otherwise the relevant authorities should conduct a full investigation to ensure accountability.
