Nominate now who you think is WOW

 WOMEN across Papua New Guinea are opening their Facebook page or email inbox to discover a message:  Someone thinks they are “WOW”.

Westpac Bank said unlike the usual negative or impersonal circular emails and social media spam, this message was thanking women for their professional achievements and encouraging them to be  nominate for the annual Westpac Outstanding Women awards.  The campaign was started by the bank to encourage nominations for the annual WOW awards before they close on Sept 25.

“There are talented women in PNG, but we find they often need encouragement to apply for the awards – they don’t realise how WOW they are until tapped on the shoulder by someone,” managing director Geoff Toone said.
