NSL call centre to benefit customers

NAMBAWAN Super Limited has a new unified call centre number for all telecommunication operators for the benefit of its members and stakeholders.
Chief manager Charlie Gilichibi said the new number 1599 would replace the previous three numbers  – 3095311, 73337777 and 76112222.
“You don’t have to be remembering three different numbers,” Gilichibi said
“Now members will remember only one number.
“The call centre is now unified so members won’t have to call different branches to get answers to their enquiries.”
He said the Nambawan Super call centre exceeded international benchmarks by responding to 98 per cent of calls within five seconds.
The World Bank (IFC) benchmark is that 80 per cent of calls had to be responded to within 20 seconds. “Calls to 1599 are localised to each network operator, meaning if a member dials from a Telikom, bmobile-Vodafone or Digicel number, the call will not incur interconnection costs to switch between networks,” Gilichibi said.
