NSL extends deadline for conference, women’s comps

THE Kumul Petroleum National Soccer League (NSL) Secretariat has extended the deadline for the conference and women’s competition to Nov 1 to allow for more teams to register their interest.
The conference competition did not receive enough forms as the required quota was six clubs per region. So far, four teams from Southern, and two each from Northern, Highlands and the New Guinea Islands had shown interest in the competition.
For women’s competition, the secretariat had only received three expression-of-interest forms each from Southern and Northern. The initial deadline for the forms was last Friday.
The forms were emailed to those who had requested and the feedback was encouraging, according to a statement from competition organisers.
The secretariat received 11 forms for the premier competition, with the required quota being eight teams. It is now inviting any interested teams around the country to register their interest.
The secretariat can be contact via email ([email protected], [email protected] or [email protected]) to request a form.
The form must be accompanied with a non-refundable fee of K5,000.
