THE Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Papua New Guinea has donated a vehicle and 200kg of rice to the archdiocese of Port Moresby to support the “street children” programme.
Office representative Oliver Liao handed the donation in a ceremony to the archdiocese staff last Thursday.
Fr Justin Nenat and Sr Yolanda Pugal, as well as Cardinal Sir John Ribat, expressed their gratitude for the support.

Liao said the office was honoured and privileged to help support the archdiocese’s “street children” programme.
He said his office had made our earlier donation of 250kg of rice on Feb 22.
“I hope our continuous donations will help galvanise more support for street children and all the other charitable programmes run by the archdiocese,” he said.
