ONLY schools who have acquitted for the Morobe Government Tuition Fee Subsidy (GTFS) second quarter funds will receive the third quarter funding, an official says.
Morobe education advisor Keith Tangui said some schools were yet to hand in their second quarter acquittals.
“These schools have whole of last week and this week to have submitted their acquittals and the latest will be till Tuesday (tomorrow).
“All acquittals should be sent in as soft copy via WhatsApp or email to the provincial GTFS co-coordinator,” Tangui said.
He said failure to submit those acquittals would mean schools being delayed on receiving their third quarter GTFS funds.
“That is why, I am appealing to all schools that are still to submit their acquittals, to make it by this week so that funds could be distributed to their respective accounts early for the schools’ operations this third quarter,” he said.
Tangui said as soon as the acquittals were received, schools should expect to have their third quarter funds available at their accounts.
“Due date for the acquittals to be submitted is last Friday but we are extending it till this week Tuesday and that should be enough time for all schools to submit their acquittals,” he said.
He said it was time all schools’ officials should know that submitting acquittals was a requirement that they had to meet before next lot of funding was made.
