Online payslip service will be restored, says Ngangan

Finance Secretary Ken Ngangan is assuring public servants that the online payslip service will be restored soon.
Ngangan said the web self service that Finance Department provided to public servants, including teachers, had been off for two months due to technical problems.
He was responding to The National after several teachers from remote areas raised concerns that they had been missing out on their online payslips which they accessed by visiting wss.finance.gov.pg.
“This outage has not only affected teachers but all public servants across the country,” the secretary said.
“The IT technical officers are currently working to restore service to its users and the service should be back any time soon.”
