OTDF appoints two executives

OK Tedi Development Foundation (OTDF) has announced the appointment of Geoffrey Fahey as its chief operating officer and Dr Miok Komolong as its chief programme officer.
OTDF chief executive officer (CEO) Ian Middleton said the appointments of Fahey and Komolong placed OTDF in a more-strategic position to effectively deliver sustainable impact projects to the communities under the Ok Tedi Community Mine Continuation Agreement (CMCA).
“Both Mr Fahey and Dr Komolong bring to OTDF a wealth of business development experience within PNG which will significantly help the company deliver quantifiable results in improving the lives of the Fly River and Western province communities,” Middleton said.
Prior to joining OTDF, Fahey was the managing director of Lihir Business Services and general manager, corporate affairs and agribusiness with Trukai Industries. 
Komolong is an agriculturalist. who was recently engaged as a strategic coordinator with the AusAID-funded Agricultural Research and Development Support Facility (ARDSF).
 Komolong will take the lead in immediately developing the OTDF monitoring and evaluation policy as well as future strategic planning.
